Background: Intertrochanteric fractures account for significant percentage of health care costs and result in high rates morbidity mortality. Since higher rate mortality complications most can be successfully treated with trochanteric stabilizing plates. This study was conducted to assess functional outcome intertrochanteric fracture femur plates define ideal mode fixation such fractures. Trochanter plate (TSP) is modular extension dynamic hip screw (DHS) that mounted on lateral femoral wall stabilize greater trochanter. It provides the flexibility achieve bone apposition as well axial compression or angular stability because three fixations at proximal fragment.
